Rubber Carbon Black, often referred to simply as Carbon Black, is the result of the pyrolysis process, a very fine charcoal powder with an extremely large surface area and composed solely of carbon atoms. Rubber Carbon Black is also
one of the most stable chemicals.
Carbon Black is most commonly used as an ingredient in tire components to enhance strength and flexibility. Additionally, it is used as black pigment in tires, plastics, rubber, paint, toner, laser printers, photocopiers, shoe soles, electrical cables, car carpets, pipes, plastic films, asphalt, automotive parts, and more.
